What is a restaurant week?
Simply put, a restaurant week is a celebration of the culinary talents of area restaurants. During restaurant week, restaurants offer special prix fixe (specially priced) menus that are usually comprised of three courses. Chefs work hard year round to take care of their customers. During restaurant weeks, they go above and beyond The concept originated in New York City in the early nineties and caught on in many cities throughout the country. Clearwater Beach Restaurant Week is in its Ninth year!
How do I take part in Clearwater Beach Restaurant Week?
No passes, tickets or coupons are required. Foodies/Diners may simply visit their favorite participating restaurants throughout the 10 days to enjoy the special $15-35 prix fixe menus.
Are there any contests going on during Restaurant Week?
Yes! You are encouraged to dine at as many participating restaurants as possible during Restaurant Week. Each participating restaurant will provide you with a ballot to vote on your experience while dining at their establishment. Drop your ballot in the Ballot Box or give to your server and enter to win a two night stay at one of our Clearwater Beach Resorts and Hotels. And speaking of servers, you can even vote on your favorite bartender and server too.
What are the special menu prices?
Each participating restaurant will offer a prix fixe menu priced $15-$35, as well as their normal menu. You are allowed to vote on either. Some participating restaurants will serve prix fixe lunches for $10-$15.
Does this special price include taxes and tips?
No. Please remember to tip your bartender and server well. Like the chefs, they’re some of the hardest working people around.
Is every Clearwater Beach restaurant participating?
No. However, every Clearwater Beach, downtown Clearwater, Island Estates and Sand Key restaurant is welcome to register and join the celebration. If you are a restaurant interesting in participating, please review our Sign-Up page or reach us through the Contact Us page.
Do I need to make reservations?
Calling ahead and asking about the need for a reservation is always a good idea.
